I had to interrupt the usually-highly intelligent discourse found on this blog to ask you to watch this video. It's super important guys! As you well know, crimes are committed in a variety of circumstances and minimum sentences are ill-equipped to deal with the degree of responsibility of each offender and the severity of a specific offence. As a result Canada will unnecessarily increase the number of prisoners and decrease the opportunity for a given offender to reintegrate into society.
Summary: Minimum sentences are bad. Bill C-10 is bad. (And leggings-as-pants are a plague on this earth).
